About Neel Patrick

Neel Patrick Edwards ("Neel Patrick," he/him) is an actor, singer, theatremaker, and communications professional based in the Upstate of South Carolina. Originally from Spartanburg, Neel Patrick developed an early love for the performing arts and has rarely missed an opportunity to entertain—whether on stage or through spontaneous musical outbursts.As a performer, Neel Patrick has brought his unique energy and voice to a wide range of roles, leaving his mark on characters such as Max Bialystock in The Producers (Joanne Woodward Award), Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls (Joanne Woodward Award), and the brooding Dom Claude Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (BroadwayWorld SC Award Nomination). He has performed across the Carolinas at notable venues including The Flat Rock Playhouse, Greenville Theatre, The South Carolina Children's Theatre, The Younts Center for Performing Arts, Centre Stage, and The Simpsonville Arts Center. His passion for musical theatre and dedication to storytelling shine through in every performance.In addition to his theatrical work, Neel Patrick has headlined various cabarets and concerts, most notably his Christmas with Neel Patrick and Friends series. Highlights include 2023's Melodies Under the Mistletoe (BroadwayWorld South Carolina Regional Theatre Award Nomination for "Best Cabaret/Concert/Solo Performance") and 2024's Christmas with Neel Patrick and Friends.Beyond performing, Neel Patrick is a skilled communications professional. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and offers freelance consulting services. In 2023, he combined his love of theatre and organizational skills to launch Hartworks Theatrics, a small performing arts nonprofit dedicated to bringing his passion projects to life.
